Vineyard Church
By this My Father is glorified, that you bear much fruit; so you will be My disciples. John 15:8
We are called to abide in Christ.
Through this connection to the True Vine we have the power to bear fruit—that is, power to live a fruitful life of Christ-like love flows from Jesus if we stay vitally connected to him.(John 15:12)
Who We Are
Vineyard Church is a Oneness Apostolic Church, affiliated with the United Pentecostal Church International, whose mission is, "The whole gospel to the whole world. By the whole church"
Love God
We believe that God is the source of all good in our lives. We strive to connect with God in every way we can: Through worship, prayer, giving, and obedience. We believe God lives in us and empowers us through the infilling of the Holy Spirit, and we encourage every person to experience His love and grace through daily interaction with Him by prayer and worship. God is a Spirit, and they that worship Him must worship Him in spirit and in truth.
Love People
We believe that connection is essential for creating community. We recognize that everyone has their own unique experiences and struggles, and we strive to create a safe and non-judgmental environment where everyone can be heard and supported. We believe that by showing empathy and compassion for one another, we can create a community that is grounded in love and grace.
What We Believe
The Bible
We believe in the Bible, which is the inspired Word of God and the authoritative source of our faith and practice. We believe that the Bible teaches us about God’s love for us and how we are to live as followers of Christ.
Abide in my word” (John 8:31).“Keep on trusting my word. Keep on trusting what I have revealed to you about myself and my Father and my work.”… ‘If you abide in my word, you are truly my disciples, and you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.”
Salvation
We believe in salvation, which is the gift of God’s grace that we receive through faith in Jesus Christ. We believe that salvation is available to all who repent of their sins and put their trust in Jesus. The Apostolic Salvation Experience is summed up in Acts 2:38: “Repent and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.” This reveals the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ.
Repentance is a change of mind, heart, and direction. Baptism is by immersion in the name of Jesus Christ. The infilling of the Holy Ghost is evidenced through speaking in tongues.
Oneness
Hear oh Israel, The Lord thy God is One. Deuteronomy 6:4. We believe in one God, who is the Creator of all things, and who is loving and just. God was made manifest in the flesh of Jesus, who was fully God and fully man. After Jesus’ victory on the cross, God came as the Spirit to fill us and give us power to overcome sin and live life more abundantly, just as He promised.
